Frequently Asked Questions

Who/What is thenuanua?

Hello, my name is Rosemary and thenuanua my creative space. Nuanua is the Samoan word for 'Rainbow'. More information about me here :)

How often do you update the shop?

My creative journey is documented on my instagram, I announce all my shop update information here as well as on facebook. Alternatively, if you’d like to be notified by email instead, please sign up for my newsletter via the home page.

I’ve seen something on your instagram, but I can’t find it on your shop. Can I make an order for a creation that is sold out?

All my work is one-of-a-kind, although I am getting into the habit of making copies (all by hand). I’m happy to re-make a sold out piece for you, and scale up or down (if possible/required). Just send me an email hello@thenuanua.com (remember to attach or include a link to the instagram post so I know which piece you want).

Can I have something custom made?

At the moment, I am not taking custom commissioned work because I have a-lot of my own ideas I'd like to create. However I do offer scaled up (and down) versions of my existing designs. If you have something in mind, just send me an email at hello@thenuanua.com and we can go from there!

How much is shipping and how long does it take?

For all my Australian orders, I do offer complimentary shipping, so the price of the piece reflects the total cost to you. More information on Domestic and International Shipping is here

All orders are processed within 4 -7 business days and you will receive an email with tracking information once your package is on its way.

Processing time differs for any custom made orders, I will confirm the lead time and tracking information with you via email.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, thenuanua does ship internationally to select countries. More information on International Shipping is here

What is your return policy?

Unfortunately at this time I do not accept returns. However, if there are any issues with your order, please contact me hello@thenuanua.com

I’m a shop interested in stocking your work, do you do wholesale?

First of all thank you for considering my work, that makes me so happy to even be approached. I am a slow maker/small business, so generally I don't have a massive stock of inventory because everything is handmade be me. However, I'd love to understand what this opportunity entails. So I can give you the best answer, please send all wholesale inquiries to hello@thenuanua.com

I’d like to feature thenuanua in a blog/magazine/publication, how do I reach you?

Amazing - please email hello@thenuanua.com
